If you use it correctly, any range bonus is a damage bonus. The Eagle is a very good ship that reacts extremely well to some faction/DED-pimping - that's when it becomes really great. Also... sniping Tengu?

Actually, while the modus operandi of blanket nerfing is a huge mistake in itself, there is no reason whatsoever to lower the resistance bonus on any ship! Not even one of those hulls is overpowered because of it. Cheers Tilo R.
